As part of my Fascinating Womanhood experiment, I need to list 25 things I like about myself. I’ve stashed the list here because it’s as good a way as any for you to get to know me better 🙂
- I’m acceptable in God’s sight because of Christ’s finished work on the cross. Without Him, there’d be nothing to like!
- I’m creative and full of ideas.
- I’m a good daughter.
- I’m an increasingly better daughter-in-law.
- I’m a fun sister, to my literal brother and to all my brothers and sisters in Christ.
- I’m a loving wife.
- I’m a loyal friend.
- I really, genuinely listen to people.
- I’m skilled with words and languages.
- I’m a perfectionist (this can be a good thing, especially for editorial nit-picking!).
- I have an artistic eye.
- I’m pretty smart (and humble too, ha ha).
- I stick to what I start.
- I am dependable and reliable.
- I can laugh at myself/I don’t take myself too seriously.
- I’m a peacemaker/good mediator.
- I’m willing to try new things.
- I’m a good team player. (Why does that sound like a snippet from a CV?)
- I’m also quite content with my own company/I don’t easily get bored.
- I’m good with animals.
- I’m usually willing to change when I see I’m wrong.
- I’m a good baker and a fairly good cook.
- I’m adept at creating balance in my life.
- I know my principles and beliefs.
- I’m not afraid of growing old; I love each stage of life as I live through it.
You sound a lot like my wife.
Hehe thanks, I’ll take that as a compliment 🙂
Yes! It was meant to be….definitely.
